In this course, students will learn how to design a character and an environment for them to live in. Students will explore different famous character designs along with different genres that they can draw inspiration from. After that, they will learn about anatomy, color schemes, silhouettes, and other essentials for entering the world of character design. We will also practice worldbuilding, or creating a relevant environment for a character to live in. By the end of the course, students will have built a successful, unique character with their own world to live in.

Payment and Refund Policy
Payment is expected prior to registration to save a space in the course, unless you have made other arrangements with the owner. Payment plans can be set up if need be. Most people pay online, leave checks in studio mailbox or mail them to Shoe Town Art Center, 200 Merrimack Street, 2nd Floor, Haverhill, MA 01832
Since almost all of our classes run full, if you register for class that means that someone else has been turned away to save your place in class. For this reason we cannot offer refunds if you decide to drop-out of the course anytime during the session. We will make every effort to accommodate you if you need to switch classes due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts or other such emergencies or events. It is our goal to make you happy and teach you the joy of art.
We don't prorate classes if you are going away on vacation or just going to miss a few, but we do have a very open make-up policy for our non-flex courses as long as we get a 24 hour notice. Please, feel free to make-up any class you might miss by attending another class being offered during the same session. We want you to work, have fun, and get the most out of your time at Shoe Town Art Center
