INTRO TO POTTERY & MULTIDIMENSIONAL ARTS
FOR HOMESCHOOL STUDENTS
This course will focus on understanding and applying the aesthetics, processes, form, and function of art in three dimensions. Students will explore a range of multi-dimensional mediums to create projects ranging from ceramics and pottery to sculptures and lanterns. Students will learn skills such as color use and color theory, form design and construction, and layering of mediums in three dimensions. All projects will incorporate a reflection on students’ own interests and values as students learn to use their pieces to share their personal story.
The course sessions run one day a week for a total of 6 weeks and is open to children and teens ages 6 and up.
Materials are included in the course fee.
