SUMMER ART CAMP

ART CAMP runs Monday August 5, 2024 until -Friday August 9 2024 and is split into two 2.5 hour groups.

Ages 8-11/12 participate in the 9:30-12 session 

​

Ages 12/13-17 participate in the 1-3:30pm session.

$250. for one session

Materials are included in the course fee.

The Shoe Town Art Center's Summer Camp Program is an opportunity for children and teens to learn about different fine art mediums such as drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, and jewelry making. Students have the freedom to choose whichever mediums they feel most comfortable with, and will be working side by side with instructors on learning the basics of their medium of choice. No matter what media they choose, students will have the opportunity to express themselves in safe, creative and positive ways. 

The Shoe Town Art Center is dedicated to creating a safe place for everyone to feel comfortable and confident enough to be who they are. During camp, students will be able to socialize with other students in their age range and be able to collaborate on larger scale projects if they choose. Students will learn about safety and etiquette when working in a professional studio environment, and students will also learn the best ways to build a strong portfolio for future use. 

Payment and registration is required to reserve a space. We will run only if the minimum required enrollment is reached.

All artwork will be wrapped and sent home with each child throughout the week as well as on the last day, Friday.
